The term cogeneration denotes the simultaneous production of different forms of secondary energy (electrical energy and thermal energy) from a single source (either fossil or renewable sources) carried out in a single integrated system. The European Union has established the use of 5.75% of ecological products out of the total of fuels by 2010 and 20% by 2020. The ever increasing costs of fossil fuels and the very limited reserves stress the need to produce energy from non-polluting fuels of vegetable origin, such as rapeseed, sunflower, soy and palm. In this scenario, the opportunity to generate electrical and thermal energy through systems using environment-friendly fuels is widened.

White certificates: these are energy efficiency certificates (in Italian TEE) given only to cogeneration plants that attest to the energy saving standards achieved. Following the authorization granted by the competent Authorities, these certificates are issued by the GME (Italian Management of Electricity Market) after having evaluated and certified the actual energy saving achieved. The market of these certificates is very interesting as they can be managed or sold to Distributors generating an added economic value. They could be considered as a type of reward for those that reuse energy by means of a cogeneration system, avoiding the consumption of methane (primary fossil energy).

By means of a specialised partner we are involved in the entire procedure of getting the White Certificates, without asking for any advance payment. This will be agreed upon only when the operation has a successful conclusion with the obtainment of the certificates. After, we will be able to arrange purchase and management for possible sales in the market.
