cogenerazionesolare termico
What is it?

A solar heating system is able to transform solar energy into thermal energy, i.e. heat. It can be used in everyday applications, such as heating household water or the home environment. On the other hand, a system is solar thermodynamic when the heat from the sun is used to produce current by evaporating the fluids that feed turbines connected to generators. Solar heating systems are devices that capture, store and use solar energy for multiple purposes.

They are classified in:
- low-temperature systems (up to 120°C);
- medium-temperature systems (approx. 500°C);
- high-temperature systems (approx. 1000°C) to be mainly used in large industrial plants.
